Country song has not been a very welcoming place for gays bit it&#;s nice to hear one of its biggest stars produce some common sense remarks about gay marriage:

BY ROB SALERNO &#; Country music star Toby Keith has come out in support of gay marriage in the US. In an interview with Nation Music Television, Keith explains, &#;That whole gay issue thing, that&#;s never bothered me.&#;
But when it comes to gays in the military, Keith hemmed and hawed a bit before finally telling the nature, &#;as long as females and the gays and the soldiers are all killers and ready to fight people off&#; obtain &#;em!&#;

Unfort The government's recent repeal of 'Don't Inquire, Don't Tell,' the policy which barred gays and lesbians from serving openly in the military, may be a controversial issue, but outspoken entertainer Toby Keith doesn't get why it was ever implemented in the first place. "It's just such a big issue that people make such a big stink about -- 'don't ask, don't tell,'" Toby tells CMT Insider. "That sounds like our government: 'We'll fix it by saying, 'Don't ask, don't tell.' Everybody agree, elevate your hands. All right, let's leave get a snack.'
