The “Gay” Bomb; Yes…Really…
Throughout human history, a great deal of the technological progress that we have achieved as a species has been driven by warfare. From medicine to material science, nuclear physics to putting a man on the moon, military concerns and investment made huge leaps forwards in science possible.
Of course, with all this progress there possess been more than a few dead ends. One of these is a rather unusual proposal that was suggested by a team of United States Air Force researchers.
The “Gay” bomb.
The proposal, which was requesting $ million dollars for research, was to develop a scent or pheromone weapon that could be dropped or sprayed on enemy troop formations. Which would turn them homosexual.
This would mean that the enemy would literally “make love not war” with one another and was advocated as a humanitarian weapon.
I suspect I know what you are thinking.
If you are a student of military history, which is likely as you are watching this channel, you are considering how during the promptly Cold War, the s and 60s, all sorts of bizarre ideas where not
War heroes and a 'gay' plane are among images flagged for removal in Pentagon’s DEI purge
WASHINGTON — References to a Society War II Medal of Honor recipient, the Enola Gay aircraft that dropped an atomic bomb on Japan and the first women to pass Marine infantry training are among the tens of thousands of photos and online posts marked for deletion as the Defense Department works to purge diversity, equity and inclusion content, according to a database obtained by The Related Press.
The database, which was confirmed by U.S. officials and published by AP, includes more than 26, images that have been flagged for removal across every military branch. But the eventual total could be much higher.

The official said it’s not clear if the database has been finalized.

Fringe Science Yields 'Gay Bombs' and Psychic Teleportation
June 21, &#; -- Creating armor that renders a soldier invisible. Stimulating the mind to suppress sleep for days. Arming sharks with chemical implants and cameras to work as spies.
This year the Pentagon will spend $78 billion — about half of all government research and training dollars — on a variety of projects, according to the American Association for the Advancement for Science (AAAS).
The vast majority - about $68 billion - goes to traditional spending, like weapons growth and space systems. But some fringe research mimics the best of science fiction.
There seems to be no failure of imagination in advancing warfare, but some experts fear these farfetched projects show a little too much imagination.
Just this month, the government confirmed that an Ohio Air Force laboratory had asked for $ million to build a nonlethal "gay bomb," a weapon that would encourage enemies to make love, not war. The weapon would use strong aphrodisiacs to make enemy troops so sexually attracted to each other t
