There are relatively many gay bars in Amsterdam. All places are located in the city center and are on walking distance from each other.
The main gay street is Reguliersdwarsstraat. In this pedestrian only area you you discover the mainstream bars with terraces, unseal all year circular. The main bars are Taboo, Soho and Bar Blend.
Bar Prik is located behind Dam square, and is a popular hangout from early evening for locals and tourists, both gays and lesbians.
Near Rembrandt square the more queer party bars can be found.
Most places are open all week, but most of them only get real engaged in weekends.
